تقع برامج IGCSE أيضاً في المستوى الثاني. ومن حيث حجم الدراسة، يعادل الدبلوم بساعاته الـ480 تقريباً دراسة 4 إلى 5 مواد IGCSE، مع اختلاف المحتوى وطريقة التقييم بين البرنامجين.
