How is the TOEFL scored?

It is 100% fair and unbiased scoring. Multiple human raters who do not know test takers’ identities are used in the crucial speaking section. Thus, there are not unfair TOEFL test centres, because the tests aren’t scored in the centres; however, tests are only scored through a network of centralized scoring. This, consequently, prevents the bias that may occur in some tests that use a single rater face-to-face interview with the candidate.
